Perth, April 22 2020

Today, rather than the usual activity, we decided to go for a long walk around the neighbourhood and looking for flowers and plants in people's frontyard, trying to spot the differences and similarities and to name as many things as we could.

We found many patterns and symmetric objects in the nature we observed! That links so well to yesterday's activity.

Our walk, all the family together, lasted for about 1 hour, we had good fun and also met a nice man who gave us a cut from his white frangipani, to plant in our garden.

We cleaned it up from its leaves and we put it in a covered space outdoor to dry.

Learning outcomes:

plants & flowers

awareness of the surrounding environment
