Day 32 of #covid19 #socialdistance
As we loved the activity on Coral reefs a few days ago, today we decided to make a few more fish and animals to further populate our crafted coral reef.
We crafted 2 octopuses, two different kinds of jelly fish, a few fish, a crab, two shells.
We talked about animals that have a skeleton inside their body, outside their body or no skeleton at all. We also talked about shells that are bivalves and shells that are gastropods.
We then put all our crafts together and added Ariel (my doll since 1992), Nemo and Dory.
Then we made stories and played in our colourful coral reef. We can't wait to grow up a bit more to be able to do some snorkelling!
Learning outcomes:
coral reefs
marine life
sustainability
Materials: lids, carton boxes, coloured paper, glue, fabric (for one of the jelly fish), colours, toilet rolls.
